PERFORMANCE STUDIES INTERNATIONAL (Hamburg conference)

This paper lays the topographical measure of contemporary workplace over psychological spreads - two artists immersed, employed and waged. Having sought mock-employment in one of India's biggest software firms, artists appeared as workers at various locations across the company's campus - at doorways and in elevators, in fire exits and at secure access points, during night shifts and as shadows of colleagues.

PERFORMAPEDIA

This essay explores the idea of performapedia to mobilize consolidated performative moments to better access areas of experience that remain relatively opaque within traditional social and critical theory. Immersion allows activating multi-sensorial epistemologies within act(s) of 'performing the everyday', that conversations within contemporary art and archival studies haven’t yet taken cognizance of.
